The fine print
Privacy Policy
Last updated 12 June 2026.
This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit goodenoughgreetings.com (the "site"), email us, or buy one of our cards. Good Enough Greetings ("we", "us", "our") is a small operation run from Ontario, Canada. We try to collect as little as possible, partly out of respect and partly because we cannot be bothered to misuse data we never asked for.
01What the website collects
Almost nothing. The site is a set of plain pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and uses no advertising or tracking pixels. There is no account to create, no newsletter box, and no form on the site.
Two ordinary things still happen, as they do on any website:
- Server logs. The company that hosts and serves the site automatically records standard technical information for each request, such as your IP address, the time, the page requested, and your browser type. This is used to keep the site running and secure, not to identify you.
- Google Fonts. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. To deliver the fonts, your browser connects to Google's servers, and Google may receive your IP address and request information. See Google's Privacy Policy.
02When you buy a card
We do not sell from this website. Every "Shop" and card link sends you to our shop on Etsy, and the entire purchase happens there. When you order:
- Etsy collects and processes your name, shipping address, payment, and contact details under its own Privacy Policy. We never see your full payment card details.
- We receive the order information Etsy passes to us (such as your name, shipping address, and what you ordered) so we can fulfil it.
- We share the details needed to print and ship your card with our print-on-demand partner, Printify, and its print providers. See Printify's Privacy Policy. We use these details only to make and deliver your order.
03If you email us
If you write to [email protected], your message reaches us through Cloudflare Email Routing and Google (Gmail). We use what you send only to read and reply to you, and we keep the correspondence as long as it is useful or required.
04Who else handles data
We rely on a short list of reputable third parties to operate. Each has its own privacy practices:
- Etsy — our storefront, checkout, and payment processing.
- Printify — printing and shipping the cards.
- Google — Google Fonts on the site, and Gmail for email.
- Cloudflare — DNS and email routing for our domain.
05Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Third parties you are sent to, such as Etsy, may use their own cookies once you are on their site, under their policies.
06Keeping and protecting information
We keep order records and email correspondence only as long as we need them to fulfil orders, handle returns, keep proper business and tax records, and meet legal obligations, after which we delete or anonymise them. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.
07Your choices and rights
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent. Email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Information held by Etsy is subject to the rights described in Etsy's own policy.
08Children
The site and shop are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
09International handling
We operate from Ontario, Canada. Some of the services above (Etsy, Printify, Google, Cloudflare) are based in the United States or elsewhere, so your information may be processed outside Canada under the laws of those countries.
10Changes
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
11Contact
Questions about this policy or your information: [email protected]. This policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
